See every muscle you've trained, mapped on your own body.
Ascend's anatomy heatmap colours every muscle by training volume across the last 7 days. Built on real anatomical paths, not a stock silhouette, so chest/back/leg balance is obvious at a glance.

Front + back body view with 30+ named muscle regions
Volume-weighted heat colouring (red = fresh, blue = recovered)
Strain board surfaces under-trained muscles for next session
Tracks lifts, cardio and mobility alongside barbell work
Free in core tracking. No premium gate.
How does Ascend calculate muscle load?
Every set you log is mapped to its primary + secondary muscles using the exercise library taxonomy. Weight × reps × RPE feeds a per-muscle 7-day load score that drives the heatmap colour.
Does it work for cardio and mobility?
Yes. Runs map to calves/quads/glutes/core. Mobility sessions reduce strain on the targeted regions so the board flips toward recovered.
Do I need a wearable for this?
No. The heatmap runs on logged workouts. Optional Apple Health / Health Connect sync adds steps + heart-rate context but isn't required.
